Keeping up with the Kardashians come to an end

The famous reality TV show focuses on the personal and professional lives of the Kardashian-Jenner blended family.

Making their first debut in 2007 it has been known as one of the longest running series in the US.

The shows main focus is on the five sisters, Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, Kendall and Kylie. And with occasional appearances from their brother Robert and features from Kris and Caitlyn.

Becoming a global phenomenon, 14 years and 20 seasons later they announced the shows departure this month.

The show has led to numerous spin off shows such Kourtney and Kim Take New York, Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons, Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami and Dash Dolls.

Kris Jenner revealed in an interview to Ryan Seacrest – executive producer – that Khloe ‘hasn’t stopped crying’ since the ending was officially confirmed leading to fans deciding how to resolve the star’s emotional and heart-breaking reaction.

They are now demanding that the original show should be changed to Keeping up with Khloe and the campaign seems to be growing and making an impact.

Although, the show has been massively criticised for the high degree of emphasis on the “famous for being famous” concept, and fabricating some storylines with a visible lack of intelligence, some critics have recognised the show as being a guilty pleasure and understanding the family’s success as it attracted high viewership ratings and has now become one of E!’s most successful shows winning a total of 15 awards.

The final 20th season will be airing in early 2021.
