Recently, the OnlyFans platform has seen sport stars such as Diego Balleza, extending their income to six figures a month, but how much could the top Rugby players across the globe earn if they joined the platform, and could it be more than their current club salary?

Interested to find out, the experts at Live Rugby Tickets created a seed list of the top 100 Rugby players worldwide and analysed Instagram and Cam Model Agency to estimate how much the hottest rugby stars could catch if they chuck down the ball and picked up the camera.

Siya Kolisi ranks as the rugby player that could earn the most on Only Fans, with potential to earn a whopping maximum of £460,000 a month, thanks to his 758,377 Instagram followers. The Sharks star currently captains the South African national team but is also currently benched after injuring his knee. If Siya were to set up OnlyFans, there could be an astounding 3642% increase in monthly income!

In second place is Blues player Beauden Barrett who, from his 675,226 Instagram followers could reportedly make up to £412,000 a month from uploading OnlyFans content, - a 634% increase from his current monthly salary! Barrett currently plays for both the Blues in Super Rugby as well as New Zealand’s national team, the All Blacks as a first five-eighth and holds the world record for consecutive wins.

Third is Australian star Quade Cooper, known as an incredibly talented Wallaby Flyhalf, he has the potential to earn £335,000 a month if he joined OnlyFans. Although he may be one of the top players in the world, he is currently racing against the clock to be fit enough for the Rugby World Cup 2023 after rupturing an Achilles tendon.

Antoine Dupont has fallen into fourth place as the French player has a total of 517,786 Instagram followers, a follower count that could earn him a total of £316,000 a month if he started an OnlyFans. At just 26 years old he is captain of France’s national Rugby team and is considered as one of the greatest players of all time winning the most awards out of all French players.

Playing in fifth, Cheslin Kolbe could potentially earn a maximum amount of £273,000 a month if he decided to make an OnlyFans account, which would increase his salary by 429%. Live Rugby Tickets set out to discover how much current Rugby players could potentially earn from OnlyFans.
They began by creating a seed list of the top 100 worldwide Rugby players using Rugbypass, which ranks the top 100 players based on their Rugby performance in 2022.
Next, the experts used Social Blade to collect the number of Instagram followers each contestant has.
Live Rugby Tickets then converted each contestant's Instagram follower count to potential OnlyFans earnings, using a conversion tool from Cam Model agency.
This provides a monthly estimated earnings figure based on 8% of an individual's Instagram followers subscribing to their OnlyFans.
Live Rugby Tickets assigned a value of $9.99 to each potential OnlyFans membership. This figure was sourced from a Business Insider article that interviewed one of the platform's top earners.
Monetary figures were calculated in USD ($) and then converted to GBP (£) & EU (€) using the Xe currency converter.
The player's current club earning was compared to potential OnlyFans earnings to determine how much more/less they’d earn if they set up an OnlyFans profile.
