In 2013 a British-Irish crime drama tv series was premiered on BBC two where they released a total of 3 series which ended in 2016.
The show is surrounded by detective superintendent Stella Gibson, played by Gillian Anderson, reviewing investigations which follows a progressive murder outbreak, but she quickly learns that there is a serial killer on the loose and they have to from a team to work together in order to find and capture Paul Spector, played by Jamie Dornan, who starred in the Fifty Shades franchise as Christian Grey.
He only attacks young professional women in Belfast and each attack is perpetrated in the exact same way as the last.
Throughout the show there are complications and scenes that cause you to grip onto the edge of your seat, therefore the show is admirably created and filmed so that you become obsessed and constantly want to know more.
Overall, the show has won 7 awards and with being added onto Netflix it has hit as second most watched and loved in the United Kingdom right now seven years after its original premiere date.
It is advised that anyone under the age of 18 years old should not watch this series due to the graphic imaging, violence and sexual scenes involved but it does show you how easy it is for anyone to find out information about you and who you are.
It shows Paul Spector researching women’s details including their home address giving you an idea of what could happen if you are not careful with what you decide to upload to the internet making awareness for those watching.
There have been discussions of a possible fourth series where they revisit what happens in Stella’s life after the shocking ending to series three but there have not been any confirmations.
