Tiger King 2 without the King himself!

After 7 episodes was aired on Netflix exposing the life and secrets of Joe Exotic and his feud with Carole Baskin, the creators of Tiger King is producing a follow up series under the same name.

Joe Exotic is currently serving 22 years in prison for obtaining wildlife charges and the involvement in the murder for hire plot to kill Carole Baskin after she threatened to shut down his exotic animal park.

It is certain any interviews done by him will only take place behind bars, whilst it has not been confirmed whether Carole Baskin and Doc Antle, leaders in wildlife conservation will return to the second series.

This leaves a huge amount of confusion as to what the series would be about. We can confirm that the series will cover Siegfried and Roy and the attack that ended their long-running tiger show.

In 2003, whilst Chris Lawrence was on stage a white tiger attacked Roy Horn during their Las Vegas Show which ended their careers and permanently injured Roy.

The series will have a deep dive into the mauling of Horn and uncover the truth of what happened that night as Lawrence has explained he is anxious about the factual accuracy of the incident that Siegfried and Roy announced.

There have been rumours that the follow-up is only a single episode meaning a shorter production time as the COVID-19 pandemic has slowed all productions down but there has not been an official release date confirmed.
